People throughout the world have now realised that we must reduce pollution and that raw material and energy are not limitless. This is one of the reasons that this new technology for recycling tyres has been developed.
The crumb rubber produced by our tyre recycling plant can vary according to the type of tyres fed into the machine and the size of granule the equipment is set up to produce.
Truck tyres contain more steel as they are made of a reinforced woven steel and rubber mix that is almost devoid of nylon that is found in car tyres
Car tyres have less steel and more nylon content than truck tyres.
The granulated car and truck tyres will be virtually wire free, but the granulated car tyres will still contain a small quantity of nylon fibre.
It is for this reason that granulated truck tyres fetch a 15% higher price than car tyres.
We define granulated rubber with dimensions between 0,5 mm and 15 mm as granules and those with a smaller dimensions as powder.
Our research shows that this type of recycling plant works well for all types of tyre car, truck or a mixture of both. It will produce various sized granules up to 6 mm maximum that can be size separated after towards into 4 –standard sizes.
