Mainly Scrap tyres from cars & trucks. The plant is designed for the processing of normal scrap car and truck tyres, excluding those of big trucks or earthmoving equipments, unless they have been previously reduced in size i.e. by quartering.
Other exceptions are solid rubber tyres like those usually used for the skips.
Before loading the tyres into the plant, it is sensible to check that the tyres are free from any foreign objects that might damage the plant i.e. rocks or large pieces of steel.
Sorting out pollutant material such as earth, paper, plastic, stones, glass, prior to shredding prolongs the life of the blades and enhances the value of the crumb / granulate being produced.
